I started Pocketbook because I wanted to offer more than just compliance. While keeping your accounts and tax affairs in order is essential, I believe business owners should understand their numbers and feel confident making financial decisions without having to understand the financial jargon.
I qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 2018 after training in practice and have since worked with businesses across a wide range of industries, from fast-growing startups to established companies. My experience spans FMCG, festivals and events, virtual production, interior design, content creators and more, giving me a broad commercial understanding of the challenges business owners face.
As well as being an accountant, I act as a CFO for growing businesses, providing ongoing or ad hoc strategic financial support. This gives me a commercial perspective that goes beyond year-end accounts, helping business owners plan for growth as well as stay compliant.
